THE SUM OF ALL FOSSILSFlourishingTech/Extreme Prog Metal |
From Progarchives.com, the ultimate progressive rock music website

The Sum Of All Fossils. The album is loud. It sounds grindcore at times, but it takes great slow heavy passages. When I was listening to it at the first time, I felt some kind of abstract musical art. The riffage are very creative, the roars are very primitive and the grinding drums drives you breathless, running a progressive rollercoaster of unexpected raw feelings.
A high point of this album: even being a so hardcore-experimental one, it is catchy. I get it from the first time, and I really fell in love with this. It's heavier enough for me nowadays, I'm not too much into extreme music, I'm getting old. Maybe, if you try listening to it constantly, you will get bored, 'cause it's that kind of sound that is fulfilled and too much for the ears, but I hardly listening to heavy stuff actually, so it fits great.
If you are into noisy prog and technical dissonant death/grind and are looking for underground stuff like this, try Maruta.
