Magma always deliver live, and this DVD is no exception. They've focused on a lot of recent material with this release, including the then-unreleased "Slaǧ Tanƶ" (released a few years later as an EP) and the title track from their most recent full-length, "F�licit� Th�sz". The reworking of the second album's "R�ah Sah�ltaahk" also gets a run-through here (this, too, was released as an EP sometime after the release of this DVD). The material here, despite the often recent vintage, is every bit as compelling as Magma's older material, and the performances are never less than revelatory (but with Magma, were you really expecting anything else?). The high price tag may prove limiting to some, but this is well worth tracking down if you can spare the cash.
