5 stars Although this release is titled 3 originals, this double CD contains the first four albums of EKSEPTION. The band's development is clearly audible, from the first album where they just had embarked on the musical course that would bring them a lot of success, to the fourth album, where they truly had grown into a tight unit performing symphonic rock music, performing their music with an orchestra. If you wish to know what is on each disc I suggest that you click on the icons for the first four albums and you will find a description of the album's content. I highly recommend this release, it's the first CD release where the first albums are featured entirely instead of just a few tracks on yet another compilation album.

4 stars Rating based on Great value for money. 4 albums on 2 cds.The sound is excellent and so is the booklet which gives a chronologly of the band and who plays what on each album.

They do pop or rock versions of classics and when they play jazz it is in the Soft Machine catagory. The vocals on 3 remind me of the Moody Blues, except they are not as good
