4 stars This is the second album of that Italian prog metal band and is an improvement from their first album. The music is complex but contains many hooks and a lot of melodic content to satisfy a prog rock audience. I was mostly impressed by the versatility of tones of the singer Nicolo Cantele and the cool drums of Francesco Tresca. The band enjoys building their song with many twists, some exotic flavors, and jazz parts to give us a breather from the heaviness. And what is a prog metal album without some impressive guitar parts, here it's just well balanced with the piano and the synths. I was also hooked to some keyboards parts in the song "Timanfaya". "Mystery Man" starts with classical arrangements with a cool break showing the strength of the singer, then the band goes into a jazz part before going back into a heavy mode, and the song ends with an impressive guitar solo. Sometimes there are some albums that you enjoy a lot and don't seem to get the attention of the majority, and this is the case here. 4.5 stars
