2 stars Album "Drives" is the last and the least valid of the trio of vinyl albums, issued by German- based label Kalemegdan Disk in the early 1990s. It contains previously unissued material that is taken from the 4-hours improvisational jam session recorded live in a rehearsal room, back in April 1977. In late 1991, former band members - percussionist Predrag Vukovic and guitarist Vojkan Rakic - with guest keyboardist Zoran Zagorcic re-mixed this old material with some newly recorded instrumental parts. Unfortunately, the end-result is the weakest IGRA STAKLENIH PERLI material by far, mostly consisting of poor-sounding psychedelic noise and hum, which may be interesting for die-hard fans only. If I say that the best moment of the album is the second track "Return...", which is in fact a lesser version of "Return to Lyzzard Square" from the excellent "Soft Explosion Live", that explains enough. I am hardly giving ** stars, mostly for documentary value.
