1 stars Ok, I'm the first one to review this one. It's not very strange though since this is a fairly uncommon LP in the second hand stores. This is a Canadian "greatest hits" covering the period up to and including "Autobahn", but a total playing time of 38 minutes makes it impossible to cover enough. Some tracks have to be shortened so much that it is almost ridiculous. The track "Stratovarious" that on "Kraftwerk" (red traffic cone) is 12 minutes long is in this compilation 1,36 minutes long, which means just a short fragment. Autobahn in 3 minutes? Well, I think this version is even shorter than the single version (I may be wrong). But don't worry, it's not "new" versions, just shortened. The same goes for some other tracks on this LP as well (ex: Kometenmelodie II, Kling Klang). So to be short, this one is nothing spectacular, and it doesn't make such a good compilation either. Collectors only.

1 stars Sadly this is very poor compilation of Kraftwerk's earlier work. Released in 1975 the songs are also shortened to unexpected lengths which do the songs no justice. ' Ruckzack' for me is the best piece on this release and even the notorious ' Autobahn' has been shortened to an unnacceptable length. I cannot fathom why the songs were reduced to these lengths as you could push 50+ minutes on vinyl anyways. One good point is the vinyl pressing is of exceptionally good quality. This album is for collectors only.
