Releases information

Recorded live in 1995 at the Theatre Sebastopol, Lille, France. Originally performed by Cale, Sterling Morrison and Maureen Tucker at the Andy Warhol Museum, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, USA, november 18/19, 1994.
Movement 2 includes the lyrics of Frozen Warning, a song by Nico.
Movement 13 consists of a drone with Cale reading the parable Melanethon written by the Swedish mystic and philosopher Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772).

4 stars Is it just me or did Cale produce here the first ever Welsh Krautrock album? [if there are others predating it i apologize] In mood it takes you on many of the tracks somewhere near the cosmic soundscapes of Ashra Tempel or Popol Vuh... and we hear Guru Guru-style yodelling more than once... ...
