Artist statement excerpt: "This acoustic performance of Rook in a home in London on the tenth anniversary of the album's release wasn't meant for public consumption as music alone; it followed a spur-of-the-moment decision to stream a live performance of it.

And so-fair warning-it isn't a hi-fi recording or polished performance in any sense. I forget lyrics, overload the mic, and hit some questionable notes in some songs I haven't played since 2008. But there's still something special about it, and it was fun to spend an afternoon with the album all these years later, and wonder why I pitched all those songs so high."
