Oketo biography
OKETO are an experimental indie rock band from Lincoln, Nebraska, currently consisting of Steven DELAIR, Collin McCARTHY, Brandon ELWELL, Bradley CLEVINGER and Jeremy BUETHE. The group has roots back to the Lincoln Southeast High School which most of the members attended and worked in various music and theater programs, but never collaborated together musically while there. Afterwards a seven member line-up was formed which featured the sax, trombone and synthesizers along with the regular rock instrument setup. They started releasing their special flavor of ambient and accessible art songs in 2014 which they say were influenced by the likes of BEATLES, FLEET FOXES and TAME IMPALA for example.
