Mako biography
MAKO is a name used by Austrian musician Manfred Batko which he used for releasing instrumental records influenced by Berlin School of electronic music. BATKO created the concept of his first album dedicated to the Greek sea around 1983 and was meant just as a personal Christmas present to his close friends. One of those friends was Heinz STROBL (also known under the alias GANDALF) who after hearing it offered to release the album on his Seagull Music label which would continue to release the other records by BATKO as well.
