Krzysztof Sadowski - Born 15 December 1936 (Warsaw, Poland)

Polish pianist, organist and jazz composer.
He debuted in the mid-1950s. In 1957 he founded the Modern Combo band. He collaborated with leading Polish jazz musicians (including Zbigniew Namysłowski, Jan "Ptaszyn" Wróblewski, and Andrzej Kurylewicz) as well as groups and soloists from the circle of rock and pop (Czerwono-Czarni, Jerzy Grunwald, Józef Skrzek). He gave concerts in Poland and abroad. In the years 1963-1966 leader of Bossa Nova Combo. In 1968 he began playing organ and electronic keyboard instruments, creating the Organ Group of Krzysztof Sadowski, with which he made numerous recordings for Polish Radio and recordings. He cooperated with TVP - he made television programs popularizing musical classics in the entertainment form and his own recitals (including Swing Party, K. Sadowski and his guests, and Music at 200V).

He performed and recorded with Jazz Studio of Polish Radio, Big Band Stodoła, Big Band Wrocław, group of Novi Singers, Janusz Muniak, Tomasz Stańka. He ran Jazz Workshops in Chodzież and Puławy, and the Pod Kurantem music cafe in Warsaw. He is a composer of film music and songs for Maria Koterbska, Danuta Rinn, daughter of Maria, Irena Santor, Katarzyna Sobczyk, Liliana Urbańska, Violetta Villas, and Wanda Warska.
