Stimpy Lockjaw biography
Founded in New York City, USA in 2009
Hailing from New York City, Stimpy Lockjaw are a divergent and colorful jazz/rock/metal groups. Combining technical riffs, dense harmony, intricate rhythms, heavy grooves, and long, developing improvisations.
All four members have brought very distinct skills and experiences to the music. Stimpy Lockjaw formed in 2009 when Kevin, Nick, and Zach met in college, but due to the success of Ever Forthright's debut album they weren't able to give full commitment to the project until 2014. Nearly 6 years after forming, they have teamed up with bassist Steve Jenkins and special guests, Cara Minichiello and Colin Gordon, to create their debut album.
All of the music was written by the three original members, but the record really came into completion when the sound of Steve Jenkins was added to the mix during the recording process.
