Yianneis biography
Founded in Athens, Greece in 2009

YIANNEIS is a band from Athens which to date has released 2 albums, the first self-titled album on the Parousia label, and the second one, Yianneis No2, self-released in digital format. Both albums are concept albums, experimental in nature, musically highly complex and creative, combining elements of jazz, psychedelia, punk, traditional folk, the avant-garde and the theatrical. Lyrics are predominantly in English and Greek, with an uneasiness which reflects the pain and anguish of a country facing economic hardship.
