Penguinsmeat biography
An instrumental rock outfit PENGUINSMEAT were founded in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2010 by Aleksey SYUBAEV (guitars, keyboards, synthesizers), Aleksey ALESHIN (guitars, keyboards, synthesizers), and Eugeny ABZALOV (drums, percussion, keyboards, synthesizers), featuring only three musicians upon stage with three synthesizers, two guitars, drums and drum synthesizer, without laptops nor sequencers. They've gigged upon tours through Europe, Russia, and Ukraine (more than 100 gigs in 13 countries they say) and taken part at some progressive rock festivals. Their first single opus "Plastic" was released in 2010, and the debut full-length one "Dirty Universe" in 2011.
