Amarionette biography
AMARIONETTE is an progressive rock group from Seixal consisting of Joana VIERIA, Joao PEREIRA, Joao GALRITO and Miguel LOUREIRO. The band formed on February 17, 2007 and started performing live around the greater Lisabon area in July of the same year. They were inspired by many genres, from punk to post rock, and while their music is psychedelic in nature, because of the louder and eclectic streaks they are sometimes more reminiscent of MARS VOLTA than any gentler space rock.
