Jus Primae Noctis biography
The band was born in 1991 from the rock band THIRD POSITION. After their bass player Paolo ANTOLA departure, the band was unsuccessful to replace him, so that the bass parts had to be played by the keyboard player Beppi MENOZZI. In 1996 with their live experience the band started to record new songs with some high-level musicians giving to the music something more adventurous than the standard rock music. The music show some influence of Italian and European tradition, The band use their music with poetry in their live shows.


After many line-up changes, some live recordings and playing cover songs, In 2014, the three members of the original line-up, Marco FEHMER (voice and guitar) Beppi MENOZZI (keyboards) and Mario A. RIGGIO (drums) were joined by Pietro BALBI (guitar), and Giovanni BOTTINO (bass). In 2019, Alessandro BEZANTE replaces Giovanni on bass and the album "Istinto" is released on Nadir Music Label. The music is symphonic prog, classic rock with jazz touches offering a wide range of atmospheres and complex arrangements.
