Joviac biography
JOVIAC is a Heavy Prog band from Tampere, Finland founded in 2016. The original line-up is Viljami Jupiter WENTTOLA, (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Antti VARJANNE (bass), and Rudy FABRITIUS (drums). Janne KORPELA (guitar) joined the band in 2017 as a member in the live line-up.

The band released their self-titled debut album in 2017, released the single "State of Mind" in 2018 and their sophomore album called "Here and Now" in April of 2020. Their style is a melodic, heavy and progressive one that utilizes progressive elements along with catchy riffs, crafty arrangements and loose conceptual threads.

The band cites their influences as DREAM THEATER, Devin TOWNSEND, PAIN OF SALVATION, TOTO, A.C.T., FROST, PLINI, PORCUPINE TREE, OPETH, and CIRCUS MAXIMUS.
