Buzzard biography
BUZZARD is a progressive metal band founded in 1989 in Norfolk, Virginia. The band has seen some interest as of late because of their quirky, avant metal style that freely adds in an eclectic mixture of jazz, punk and progressive styles, but their music can be a bit tough to locate and their albums are quite rare. However, the style is original and pushes the envelope of the traditional progressive metal sound.

The original band line-up consisted of Patrick WALSH (guitars), A.J. LONG (vocals), Andres BROWN (bass), Joey RUDACIL (drums), and John FINNEY (woodwinds). Through the years, there have been many line-up changes and in 2017, RUDACIL passed away in his sleep. Currently, the band consists of the trio of Patrick WALSH (now going under the pseudo-name of Tricky Moe) on guitars and other sounds, Kevin ANDERSON on bass and Mark HENRY on drums. As of 2020, the band is still active.

In 1993, the band released its debut album "Churp!!!" and later, in 1998, their EP "Exercises & Transmutations..." was also released. As mentioned before, their music is difficult to locate, however, it can be experienced on various internet sites. Hopefully, the sudden interest in their music will result in reissues or new music.
