Omertah biography
OMERTAH is an Experimental/Post Metal band formed in 2011 from Sevastopol, Ukraine. Original band members are Dmitri SAYATZ (guitar), Dmitri SIDORENKO (guitar), Artur MATVEYCHEV (bass) and Valery KODCENTKOV (drums). With this line-up, the band has released their demo tracks called "Essence" (which is now considered a proper album at 45 minutes) in 2012 and have also released a single "Parallels".

Their style is instrumental djent with groovy riffs that mix in post metal and ambient backgrounds.

After the sudden departure of KOCHETKOV, the band has been put on pause for a while. However, OMERTAH is still silently active with new drummer Andrew SOBOL. They are still writing new material which has been accumulating over the years and are currently active in studio.
