Head Control System biography
In 2005, Daniel CARDOSO created the project SinDRomE where he contributed all instrumentation and released an EP called "Severe Damage on Reason and Equilibrium". Soon after this, he was joined by Kristoffer "Garm" RYGG (ULVER) and it was decided to change the project's name to HEAD CONTROL SYSTEM. In 2006, the project released their only album called "Murder Nature".

The style is an intriguing alternative progressive metal that is influenced by a stream of conscious method of composing lyrics which are written in a mostly improvised fashion. The music itself is more melodic metal with soft, repetitive and dissonant patterns used as a foundation, a style influenced by bands like MESHUGGAH.

Listeners will find similarities of the style in bands like ULVER, ARCTURUS, SIGH, GREEN CARNATION, THY CATAFALQUE, KATATONIA, GARGOYL, ALICE IN CHAINS, A PERFECT CIRCLE, and DEFTONES.
