AmartiA biography
A French unit AMARTIA were founded firstly as a quartet at the dawn of 21st Century by Marielle DUROULE (vocals), Vincent VERCAIGNE (guitars, backing vocals, keyboards, programming), Nicolas SION (bass), and Vincent DUPARCQ (drums, percussion). Their debut album entitled "Maïeutics" (that was reissued with some demo tracks in 2019) was released in 2002 via a French independent label Thundering Records. They have participated in a French rock festival Raismes Fest in 2008. Their current lineup (on the latest album "Daylight Beauty" out in 2021) is: Amandine DUWOOZ (vocals), Vincent VERCAIGNE (guitars, backing vocals), Cyril CARRETTE (keyboards), Sébastien DESCARPENTRIES (bass, percussion), and Quentin DAUMAL (drums, percussion).
