Bitchin Bajas biography
BITCHIN BAJAS are a North American kosmische electronic trio, based in Chicago and operating since 2010. The project was originally a solo endeavour started by Cooper Crain of psych/kraut band Cave, but expanded to include Dan Quinlivan of Mahjongg (guitars/synths) and Rob Frye (guitars/wind), also of Cave.

BITCHIN BAJAS released nine albums and several EPs and splits over the course of the decade, including collaborations with Natural Information Society, Bonny 'Prince' Billy and filmmaker Olivia Wyatt. In 2019, the group issued the retrospective compilation, Rebajas, before joining Stereolab as openers for their North American reunion tour. Their minimalist and krautrock-inspired style will appeal to fans of Terry Riley, Fripp & Eno, Emeralds, Cluster, Harmonia, Popol Vuh, Ashra and J.D. Emmanuel.
