ROBIN & THE WOODS is a French band that resulted from guitarist Robin Jolivet and saxophone player Jérôme Masco meeting in a jazz music class at the Conservatory of Bordeaux. These kindred spirits formed the band and added Alexandre Aguilera (flute), Alexis Cadeillan (bass) and Nicolas Girardi (drums) were primarily inspired by classic progressive rock acts like King Crimson and Pink Floyd as well as jazz artists such as Pat Metheny, John Hollenbeck, Donny McCaslin and Kneebody.
