Creature biography
CREATURE is the one-man progressive black metal project of multi-instrumentalist Raphaël FOURNIER, based in Brittany, France. Composed, arranged and mixed entirely by FOURNIER, his first two independently released records, 2018's "Inquiétudes" and 2019's "Contes Funèbres", caught the attention of I, Voidhanger Records, which signed CREATURE and issued his third album, "Ex Cathedra", in 2020. For "Ex Cathedra", FOURNIER was accompanied by guest musicians Perrine NEULET on flute, violinist Maria GRIGORYEVA and singer Alexis BERTRAN.

Creature's eclectic and ornately orchestrated black metal will be of interest to fans of MIRRORTHRONE, LE GRAND GUIGNOL, SIGH, THY CATAFALQUE and ARCTURUS.
