The Moose biography
Formed in 2016 by Tyler Frey (guitar), Alex Huffman (bass) and Jake Hilger (keyboard, synths, guitar) THE MOOSE is a band out of Kansas City, Missouri. Coming from a psychedelic pop fundament they were heavily influenced by The Beatles, Tame Impala, and Electric Light Orchestra. Some time later Emma Klein (percussion) and Parker Tozier (lead guitar) have completed the current quintet.

Their debut album 'The First Real Encounter' was released in December of 2018. Step by step the band incorporated more experimental and progressive rock signatures, showcasing just a similar approach like King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. That was manifested with their sophomore album 'Spature' in 2021. Consisting of 26 tracks they are offering a wild mix of influences deriving from bands like Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Hawkwind, to name a few.
