Roman Walczak biography
Roman WALCZAK is a Polish musician based in Gdynia, Poland. He is a self-taught composer, guitarist and saxophonist. He bought his first guitar at the age of 13, always with the intention of composing his own music, rather than playing songs that he knew. He established a hard-rock band Revan in 2012, which played numerous concerts in the northern Poland area. The group released their only album "Swiatostany" in 2017.

In 2018 he started writing and playing as a duet with singer Klaudia Szmidt. Their collaboration resulted in very atmospheric concerts and music, as well as performing at national festivals. The same year saw the beginning of the work on his first solo album - "Taniec Dwóch Księżyców". The work ended in 2020 and was released in 2021. It contains 8 songs with organic retro sounds inspired by the classic rock of the 70s. It instantly earned critical acclaim all over Poland. The song "Czarny Pocałunek" (with ex-Genesis Steve Hackett as a special guest) instantly became a fan-favorite and is the driving force of the album popularity.

Currently Roman is writing his 2nd album.
