Fawn Limbs biography
Self-described as "geometrical noise" and "mathematical chaos" on their Bandcamp page, Pennsylvanian outfit FAWN LIMBS combine the cerebral riffing of progressive metal with the manic intensity of mathcore and grindcore to create a unique sound of their own. The group's pedigree is admirable for anyone familiar with the modern mathcore and technical death metal scenes, as they sport current and former members of bands such as PSYOPUS, ARTIFICIAL BRAIN, and COMMIT SUICIDE. To date, they have released three studio albums.

The band's first album, "Harm Remissions", immediately lets one know how crazy their music can be. Rapid-fire drums, impressive guitar sweeps, and heavy-as-hell breakdowns mark this first affair; the result is a strong first showing that would lay the groundwork for the group's music going forward. Their next two records have expanded upon this formula, even going so far as to add glitch elements and jazzy horn-led passages; however, the intensity and aggression of their work has not ceased in the slightest.
