Ignea biography
Founded in 2013 as Parallax, and renamed to their present name in 2015, Ignea is a melodic death metal band from Ukraine that incorporates heavy elements of symphonic metal and middle eastern folk metal, as well as modern metal. They later began incorporating heavier elements of progressive metal, metalcore, and djent into their sound.

Ignea is known for playing very thick, groovy, and melodic riffs, while mixing female harsh and clean vocals. They have been compared to diverse array of artists such as Orphaned Land, Epica, Myrath, Jinjer, Distorted, and Arch Enemy.
