Mario Lino Stancati biography
Mario Lino Stancati is an Italian multidisciplinary artist from Mesagne, Apulia who has pursued ventures in writing, poetry, film, theatre and music since 2007. As a musician he specializes in electronic music composition and production as well as guitar and free-form vocal performance. His early EP releases (beginning with 2016's Voxigena) were of a dark ambient quality with influence from noise and early industrial music. However, his first two full-length albums (both released through Raffaele Pezzella's experimental electronic music label Unexplained Sounds Group, for whose compilations he has contributed numerous tracks over the years) show more affinity for old-school synthesizer music and sequencers. Since 2020, Stancati has also composed music for several independent films.
