Spirale biography
Spirale is a Roman band, with a predominantly jazz soul, formed in the early 70s and which gave birth to only one album, of the same name, in 1974 before breaking up shortly after.In 1975, after the group broke up, Giancarlo MAURINO, Giampaolo ASCOLESE and Gaetano DELFINI gave life to a new project, the FOLK MAGIC BAND.
In the following years some of the members of Spirale collaborated with various artists.
In 2007, the group get back together and released a new album in 2011 (Live Inside) followed by various concerts. The band now also includes Michele ASCOLESE, who for years was a guitarist and collaborator of Fabrizio de ANDRE as well as Enrico RAVA, Renato ZERO, Roberto VECCHIONI and Angelo BRANDUARDI.
In 2021 the album has been restored digitally Jazz and progressive music lovers have the chance to listen something truly special with the feel of 1974 analogue sound.
