Wood and Wires biography
Wood and Wires were a short-lived American post-rock band from Madison, Wisconsin. Active in the mid-2000s, the quintet crafted contemplative instrumental music in the vein of Explosions in the Sky and Mono, performed by guitarists Aaron Davis and Jake (surname unknown), violinist Marta Sofia Honer, keyboardist Jon and drummer Leigh (whose surnames are also lost to history).

The group signed to Mouthstatic (ltd) in 2006 and released their eponymous debut - and swan song - several months later on July 27, 2006, the same date on which Wood and Wires played their last live show at the Orpheum Theater before its members dispersed across the USA to pursue higher education.
