UDRAYA are a Prog Folk band from France with one album released in 1999. The album "Incantations" has a huge lineup of singers and musicians, consisting of Jean-Paul Trutet (vocals, soprano saxophone), Stéphane Maillard (keyboards), Olivier Bertrand (drums, percussion), Pascal Tremblaye (bass), Daniel Trutet (mandolin, cello), Jacob Maciuca (violin), François-Xavier Rethore (flute, cornemuse), Patrick Vergondi (trombone), Vincent Moreau (cor), Malik Auididier (alto saxophone), Simon Mary (contrebasse), Patrice Pineau (bugle), Murielle Shreider (harp), Joannne Martin (vocal), Julie & Rita Dumoulin, Maude & Françoise Trutet, Chloé Cailleton, Philippe Devaud, Jeannick Launay, Sébastien Gazulle, Bruno Lize (Latin Chorus).


The band's mastermind was vocalist Jean-Paul TRUTET, a former member of HECENIA, along with his brother Daniel, on guitar and bass. Prior to this he played in ELOHIM. Trutet's daughter Maude is the vocalist and founder of the band L'EFFET DÉFÉE, who released "Al Trop" in 2010. Trutet also records with his wife Sarah, as CRISTA GALLI. After a prolonged career as a musician-singer since 1980, Trutet currently leads courses and workshops on voice and personal development, along with energy healing.

The music of UDRAYA mixes Celtic themes with inspired liturgical songs, along with Arabian inspired melodies. The music employs layers of symphonic orchestration, using strings, horns, and choirs. Trutet is an accomplished French vocalist and the music has an ELOHIM like quality that should appeal to those who are interested in the Prog Folk subgenre.
