Snowblood biography
SNOWBLOOD is a experimental/post-metal band from Glasgow.Formed in 2002 by a group of friends who had no plan or agenda,but wanted to make music for music's sake,SNOWBLOOD compose lengthy guitar-based pieces,usually focused around the elaboration of a single theme. These pieces are renowned for developing the dynamics between the serene and the brutal side of the post metal,post rock and doom metal genres.

The band is comprised of members David Tobin (guitars),Graham Young (bass),Ewan Mackenzie (drums,keyboards) and Luke Devlin (vocals).SNOWBLOOD released their debut album "The Human Tragedy" in 2003.

Celloist Tracey Fallon was brought on board in time for SNOWBLOOD'S second album,2005's "Being and Becoming.Her often melancholy and melodic parts incorporate another dimension into the band's music, however the members of SNOWBLOOD have not yet revealed if she is a full-time member of the band.

SNOWBLOOD blend together a wide variety of different styles,from post metal and post rock to experimental music,ambient,stoner rock,heavy metal,new wave and dub music to create a highly original and fresh sound.HIGHLY recommended to all fans of this genre of music.
