Cue biography
Cue is a band from Austin, Texas, USA that plays Post-Rock with a Chamber-like line-up. Cue started as a duo consisting of Clarke Dominic (guitar, bass and keyboards) and Jason Brister (drums). In 2000, Colin Swietek (guitar), who played in The Octopus Project, stayed at Jason and Clarke's house. It wasn't long before the three started playing together and released their first album as a trio called "Keep Busy", in 2001. In 2005, Stacy Meshbane (violin), a former member of the Tunahelpers, joined the band and the same year band released "Bring Back My Love", which is the first album of the quartet under the name Cue. After extensive touring around the US as well as playing in several festivals and playing with bands like Mono, Saxon Shore, in 2007 Cue released their sophomore album, "Wedding Songs".

Cue's music is very similar to that of bands like As The Poets Affirm and Bell Orchestre which combines chamber orchestrations with Post-Rock sensibilities. Cue is highly recommended for fans of the previously mentioned bands.
