"Quartik was created after a Jam session on January 13th 2002 revealed a perfect fusion between 4 musicians from diversified backgrounds. Although the band is still relatively young a dozen of original creations are already recorded, with a dozen more on the way. An unusual chemistry has lead to a stream of creativity, as well as an opportunity to play at the Mont Offord Jazz and Blues Festival on September 14th 2002. To follow up on such a strong start, Quartik released their first album « Hecho a mano ». Between recording sessions, several other shows were scheduled, all bearing incredible audience reviews. Every band member's past benefited in a meld of seriously experienced personnel to bring projects to a successful end."
