Because Of Ghosts biography
BECAUSE OF GHOSTS is a post rock band from Australia formed in 2002 by half brothers Jacob Pearce (drums, samples, glockenspiel) and Reuben Stanton (guitar, accordion, piano). As a duo they released three EP's: "No More Reason, No More Doubt" and "Because of Ghosts EP", all released between 2002 and 2003. They were later joined by Domenic Stanton (bass, glockenspiel, wineglasses).

They recorded a split EP with Adlerseri and shortly after they recorded and released their LP entitled "Make Amends With Your Adversary Before Dawn" which gained an international release with Wonderground music; an Japanese label. In 2004, with the release of their EP "Your House is Built on a Frozen Lake" the band widened their fan base trough CD sales and getting intense airplay, all while touring.

In 2005 the band played on a successful tour through Japan in support of U.S. act Tortoise. Later in 2006 the band released what it's called their true debut album "The Tomorrow We Were Promised Yesterday" trough Feral Media. In 2007 after a tour in Canada the band released a limited Canadian Tour EP. Shortly after the tour the band recorded their third LP entitled "This Culture Of Background Noise" with producer Howard Bilerman. The album was released in September 2008 again through Feral Media.
