Detwiije biography
DETWIIJE is a post rock band from London, England that split in October 2007. The members were Ben Levy (Guitar), Al Harle (Guitar), Ellie Wilson (Violin), David Jones (Bass), and Shea Hagan (Drums). They produced their first EP "Six is Better than Eight" which was released in 2004. In 2005 the band released their first LP entitled "Would you Rather be Followed by 40 Ducks for The Rest Of Your Life?" on CD by Gizeh Records and 12" vinyl by Vacuous Pop Recordings.

In October 2007 the band announced their split after a farewell gig at London's Hoxton Bar & Kitchen. Some of the members of the band have already started several musical projects such as Revere, Speccy Ginger and Mechanist.
