Caldera biography
CALDERA is an Experimental Doom/Stoner Metal band originating from Nancy, France. They were formed in 2001, and initially contained a vocalist. By the release of their 2008 debut album they were a fully instrumental band, however.

The type of music that CALDERA plays can be described as Experimental Metal with many hintings of Post Metal, Doom Metal, Stoner Metal, and Traditional Prog Metal, all in an instrumental form. Their debut album showcases this, and was released in 2008 under Radar Swim Records titled Mist Through Your Consciousness.

If you are interested in ISIS, PELICAN, and instrumental bands like SCALE THE SUMMIT, CALDERA will appeal to you.

The addition of CALDERA was approved by the Prog-Metal Team of Collaborators.
