ARTLAND

Artland biography
Israeli outfit ARTLAND was formed in 1997 by Patrick Losinsky (guitars, percussions, drums), Alex Tantsiurah (keyboards), Sandy Bagnov (bass) and Sergey Nikolaev (guitars). Originating from the USSR they had all been accomplished musicians prior to emigrating to Israel, and found it natural to pursue musical interests together in their new homeland as well.

With an aim to incorporate ambient and electronic sounds into a progressve rock palette they set out to record their debut album, which was issued in 2001 as Between the Sky and Earth. The band is slowly but surely working on a second album, planned to incorporate lyrics from The Book of Psalms.
