The Yellow Moon Band biography
We can find the roots of THE YELLOW MOON BAND in a UK electrofolk duo IT'S JO AND DANNY, formed by Jo BARTLETT (guitar) and Danny HAGAN (bass) in 1999. Through releasing four albums and founding Green Man Festival in the Brecon Beacons, Wales (in that their play could pioneer 'the new wave of folk'), the two folkish men got so ambitious to play more psychedelic sounds that they recruited two players with a broad musical outlook - Rudy CARROLL (guitar, mandolin) and Mathew PRIEST (drums, percussion - ex-Dodgy) - and with some experimental jams at Jo & Danny's commune in the Brecon Beacons, built new psychedelia up, named THE YELLOW MOON BAND in 2007.

In Bark Studio, North London, THE YELLOW MOON BAND recorded their debut album 'Travels Into Several Remote Nations Of The World' and released via a UK independent label Static Caravan Recordings on January 25, 2009.
