Suishou No Fune biography
Until 1999, Pirako KURENAI and KAGEO always together played and discussed loud psychedelic rock just like LES RALLIZES DENUDES with a huge cups of sake. Their unlimited energy for exploded guitar sounds might form a twin-loud-guitars-based psychedelic outfit named SUISHOU NO FUNE (in English, Ship Of Crystal) at Nishi-Ogikubo, Tokyo, Japan in July 1999. Two trippin' guitarists can influence upon each other and build improvised psychedelic tunes and lyrics up, with much inspiration shining into their minds. Around 2002 they got started gigging on stage at Koenji (Tokyo) and released their first live CD-R in 2003. With such artists as Yokai Takahashi, Doronco (both ex-Les Rallizes Denudes) or Keiji Haino, they made a lot of gigs around Tokyo and got approved in worldwide underground rock scene. In 2005 they could make a great success in Le Weekend Festival in Scotland and released the eponymous album via Japanoise Records soon after that. In the following year they got much appreciated on their first US tour.

SUISHOU NO FUNE have been very prolific but absolutely kept their musical policy that their inspiration and improvisation should be the most important. They celebrated the tenth anniversary on the stage of Silver Elephant, Kichijoji, Tokyo in November 2009.
