Eaststrikewest biography
Eaststrikewest are a band from London, England. They formed in 2007 after the break-up of former outfit Threemovements, by ex-members: Liam Davis (guitars), James Saddington (guitars, keyboards), Ian Smith (drums) and Joseph Smyth (bass). After numerous line-up changes, the band only started to develop after the addition of Craig Bourne (keyboards, guitars), Thomas Clark (vocals) and Luc Lamude (guitars) - whom have all been long term friends and collaborators in past projects. Eaststrikewest's music offers experimental approach, progressive touch combined with shoegazing vibes and indie rock tunes. Masterfully arranged orchestral and electric components that create an epic sound. Haunting vocals of frontman Tom Clark, mature songwriting, well-crafted instantly memorable songs, cinematic in feel, creating music that grabs the listener. Sweeping strings, pounding drums, soaring, distant vocals just emphasize the theatrical sound of their music. They so far released one full-lenght album: 'Wolvves'
