Sonna biography
Sonna formed in January of 1998 when Jeremy began playing with Chris, Jim and Paul Petersan in Baltimore,MD. After playing shows in and around Baltimore, they recorded These Windows Are Pistons and Way To Breathe No Breath at WGNS in Washington, DC. In August, Paul moved to Austin, TX. Drew joined soon thereafter, and Sonna played several more shows before recording with Trevor/hollAnd in September of 1999. The sixth volume in the Travels in Constants series, The Eventual Bow, came out of this session, as did Kept Luminesce/Mirameko. In August of 2000, Sonna recorded We Sing Loud Sing Soft Tonight at Electrical Audio in Chicago. A couple of US tours later, Sonna made another trip to Electrical and recorded Smile and the World Smiles With You.
