Edel biography
Edel means something like gentle, eminent, precious and valuable. It's about energetic quality that we wanted our music to contain. I do have enough of morbidity (probably referring to his work in Dunaj) and so I want to do something different. said Vladimír Václavek about Edel.

Started as project by two Czechs - Václavek and his long time music companion Milo? Dvoøáèek and two Germans, guitarist and composer of scenic music Frieder Zimmermann (student of Robert Fripp) & drummer Matthias Macht. They actually got together through Myspace.

We started in studio and were just improvizating. Then some songs were formed and it sounded quite well. Everything started on the run, without preparations, we were just creating and shaping what would result in Edel. We didn't know in what it will result and we are happy about it now. further commented Václavek.
