Next Life biography
NEXT LIFE is a Norwegian Technical Prog Metal band formed in Tønsberg in 1999. The line-up consists of Hai Nguyen DINH (guitar, programming), Tormod CHRISTENSEN (bass) and Anders HANGÅRD (drums). Their instrumental music has a strong foot in the extreme metal of MESHUGGAH combined with hardcore agression and video game soundtrack music. The video game effect is achieved through the very computer-y synth sounds which bring a very Prog rock sounding element into the music. The music borders on Avant Prog Metal but the short grind-core based compositions connects the band firmly to Tech/Extreme Prog metal.
