The Aurora Observatory biography
US band THE AURORA OBSERVATORY have been around since 2008 or thereabouts, a self-described conceptual progressive rock group influenced by, well, everything. Their stated goal is to encourage the listener to open their minds. So far this has resulted in one full length album: Failure Of Imagination, self released in 2010.

Future developments for the band have ground to a halt in recent times due to drummer Chance Taylor death in a car accident in the spring of 2012, the loss of a bandmate and close personal friend a process that obviously needs to be worked through.
