Brass Knuckle Surfer biography
Formed in 2003 by Atlanta, Georgia natives Mike MORRIS (guitar and piano), Juan GARCIA (bass), Paul MERCER (violin) and Mike BARNES (drums), BRASS KNUCKLE SURFER is what their name suggests: A smooth ride with a couple of really thick punches to the gut.

Often employing some hypnotic electronics and backed by years of live performances, BRASS KNUCKLE SURFER creates a sound that is as energetic and emotional as the tensest moments of MOGWAI and as thick as some post-jazz outfits without being jazz themselves.

The band released their first album, ?The Art of Life?, in 2004 and released its follow-up in 2009, "Sin Palabras".
