AMARA was a short-lived experimental progressive metal project from Portland, Oregon, USA. They project existed between 2005 and 2009 and only managed to produce one full album during that period, in 2007. entitled ''Gnosis Temple'' with the line-up consisting of Leo Adan ALANIZ (vocals), Juan Carlos CACERES (guitar), Jaime VILLESCAS (bass) and Ryan STABACH.
''Gnosis Temple'' floats in melodic experimental metal patterns and borrows heavily from TOOL but is also influenced by acts of the alternative rock/metal scene. The album is available on bandcamp on 'name-your-price' basis.
