Beak biography
BEAK are a post metal band from Chicago formed in 2009. Led by drummer Chris EICHENSEER and bassist/vocalist Jason GOLDBERG (ex-THE TIMEOUT DRAWER), BEAK incorporate influences from acts such as NEUROSIS and ISIS while forging a distinctive sound, music that eschews linear progression by means of songs which produce their own weight and evolve gradually as they twist around themselves. The results are unpredictable, essentially evoking an aura that pinballs between violence and quiet, haunting passages while retaining a consistent flow.

Currently the band members are John SLUSHER on lead vocals and guitars, Jason GOLDBERG on bass and vocals, Andy BOSNAK on guitars, and Chris EICHENSEER on drums. They released their debut album ''Eyrie'' in April 2012.
