Bible Black biography
BIBLE BLACK is a heavy progressive rock band formed in Japan formed in 1984 by guitarist and keyboardist ROSE, bassist Yugo IIGAHAMA, and drummer Kotaro MIWA. The band was mostly dormant for most of its existence, living as an underground live act for almost 30 years before finally recording their debut self-titled album in 2012. For the release, the band recruited second keyboardist IWANOV.

The band's music is very reminiscent of the heavy prog of the era they formed in, with riffs sounding very much like late-70s early-80s RUSH, mid-70s KING CRIMSON, and even LED ZEPPELIN and CAPTAIN BEYOND. The retro sounds will appeal to listeners of that era.
